Travel conditions
- All of BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM provide only a private transfer service.
- The pick-up time in Budapest is 3 hours before the departure of the flight. It is the responsibility of the Passenger to provide a valid mobile contact number for any case.
- It is the responsibility of the Passenger to ensure that BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM has been provided with a valid mobile contact number. If a significant change to the pick-up time is necessary BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM will contact the Passenger by SMS or phone. Failure to provide a valid mobile contact number may cause the Passenger to miss the transfer. Under this circumstance no refund will be available.
- It is the responsibility of the Passenger to check for messages left on his/her mobile during the last 24 hours prior to travel, especially on the day of the travel. In case the pick-up time is significantly changed, the Passenger will be notified during the last 24 hours before the transfer, or on the day of the transfer.
- If the Passenger does not have a valid mobile number, s/he shall ensure that a home/office/hotel contact number has been provided and BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM can contact the Passenger or leave a message at this telephone number. If it is not possible to provide either of the above, it is the Passenger’s responsibility to contact the agent on the number shown on the voucher. Failure to do this may cause the Passenger to miss the transfer. Under this circumstance no refund will be available.
- Where a booking is made by telephone the booking is subject to and the Passenger accepts the BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM Travel Conditions.
- Where two or more people are included in the same booking, the person purchasing the booking shall be deemed to be acting as an agent for both or all members of the party and accepts these booking conditions on behalf of each member of the party.
- The Passenger will be taken to and collected from the drop-off and pick-up addresses stated on the voucher. It is the responsibility of the passenger to provide a full and valid address for the transfer pick-up and/or drop-off point.
- Any changes in the booking details must be set by the Passenger in the MY BOOKINGS section at www.budapesttransfers.com until 18:00pm the day before the trip.
- The printed confirmation voucher is the ticket. The voucher is printable right after the purchase at BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM and it is also sent to the e-mail address given by the Passenger. The voucher must be presented to BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM driver or BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM representative for both the outward and return trip.
- Cancellations must be sent via e-mail directly to BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM's headoffice through the contact page. Cancellations will be confirmed by BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM via e-mail. If confirmation of cancellation has not been received after 7 days, please contact BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM headoffice. Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the date of travel. In the event of a cancellation by the Passenger, BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM, at its absolute discretion, may refund the price of the transfers booked, subject to a deduction of 15 Euro administration charge and the costs of bank remittance. BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM maintains the right to cancel bookings at any time if it feels it will be unable to supply the service requested in a correct man
- In accordance with section 4, if a private transfer has been booked and the Passengers flight is delayed or cancelled, Passenger will be offered seats on the next available transfer to/from the same location on condition that a next transfer to/from the above mentioned location exists and the availability thereof allows. If there is no next transfer or there is no empty seat in the vehicle, the Passenger will have missed the transfer. In this circumstance no refund will be available.
- If the Passengers flight is diverted from Budapest Ferihegy Airport to an other airport, BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM at its absolute discretion may offer a transfer for the Passenger to/from the other airport for a different price. If Passenger already paid for the transfer, this amount will be deducted from the price of the transfer to/from the other airport. In this circumstance no refund will be available.
- If Passenger has missed the scheduled pick-up time for any reason, s/he will not be entitled to a refund.
- If a private transfer has been booked and Passenger’s flight is delayed, the driver will wait for up to 30 minutes from the scheduled arrival time, after which point a fee of 5 euro for every beginned 10 minutes is payable by the passenger directly to the driver prior to the vehicle's departure.
- All complaints and requests for refund must be sent via e-mail directly to BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM headoffice (info@budapesttransfers.com) within 3 days after the date of travel.
- Passenger is allowed to place two items of luggage in the vehicle. Any excess luggage must be declared at the time of booking. In the event of a client having excess luggage, BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM reserves the right to charge an excess baggage allowance or refuse to transport the items.
- BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM reserves the right (and delegates to its drivers) to refuse to carry any Passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or whose behaviour is considered to pose a threat to the driver, the vehicle or other passengers.
- Passenger is not permitted to take alcoholic drinks onto BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM vehicles for the purpose of consuming them therein.
- Smoking is not permitted in BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM vehicles.
- BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM vehicles are fully insured for Passenger and third party claims, as required under local law. However, whilst every care is always taken, customers property is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage. Passenger is therefore advised to check his/her own travel insurance.
- BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM will endeavour to carry Passenger with the minimum discomfort and inconvenience to his/her destination at the time shown on the voucher. However, BUDAPESTTRANSFERS.COM will not incur any liability whatsoever, if circumstances beyond its control prevent the achievement of this responsibility. The following are examples of circumstances which are not within our control (this list is not exhaustive):
- accidents causing delays to the vehicle
- restricted vehicular access
- exceptional or severe weather conditions
- compliance with requests of the police
- deaths and accidents on the road
- vandalism and terrorism
- unforeseen traffic delays
- industrial action by third parties or strike
- diverted flights to other airports
- problems caused by other customers
- the vehicle being held or delayed by a police officer or government official
- other circumstances affecting passenger safety
- Nothing can affect the Passengers statutory rights.
- Terms of Payment
- Hungarian Law will govern these conditions in all respects.
